

Marion Borgel (France) violonist and violist, started her musical studies in France in the Conservatoire of Grenoble before entering Jean Lenert’s violin class at the Schola Cantorum in Paris where she obtains afterwards her "Diplôme de Supérieur".
She graduated from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with honors in 2015 -class of Shirly Laub- and received her teaching diploma in 2016 in the Royal Conservatory of Mons.
Her passion for chamber music leads her very soon to perform with several ensembles in France such as the orchestra Scherzando directed by her aunt Nathalie Borgel, and the Schola Chamber Orchestra. She also performs with orchestras like De Filarmonie (Anvers) or the Musiq3 Festival Orchestra, under many conductors amongst them Philippe Herreweghe.
Marion has been invited to perform several times in France, in prestigious venues such as : Salle Gaveau or Eglise Saint-Roch in Paris, salle Molière in Lyon, during the festival de la Méditerranée de Bastia.....
She has been performing alongside famous soloist amongst them : the flûtes players Benoit Fromanger and Juliette Hurel, the trumpetist Thierry Caens, the pianists Marek Drewnowsky and Jean-Bernard Pommier, and the saxophonist jazz Steve Houben.
She is actually teacher in France in the Demos project parainned by the Philarmony of Paris, and play a lot in orchestra based in Belgium including « Assai Sinfonieta » based in Hasselt.
She is a member of several chamber music ensemble as violist in the Quartet Xérès, and as violinist and violist in the ensemble Fractales, a young ensemble of contemporary music based in Brussels.
