Sonic Affinities by Ensemble Fractales weaves a meeting of rhythmic intensity, poetic textures, and expressive contrasts. In Cada piedra es una isla, Helena Cánovas evokes a resonant landscape shaped by silence and memory. With Tablinum, written for Ensemble Fractales and premiered at Ars Musica 2022, Mikel Urquiza unfolds five movements imbued with spirit, lyricism, and clarity. In La voix du trait, presented here for the first time in its concert version, Oren Boneh transforms the sound gesture into a driving pulse — a new incarnation of his work with live calligraphy, written for Fractales and created in 2024. Finally, the miniatures by Molski, Vizzini, and Zisimopoulos offer concise flashes where contrasting styles clash and meet.
